Philadelphia City Sail
PSC offers many of its programs free of charge to minority inner-city youth; some programs are fee-based, dependant upon ability to pay. Its' 75 foot schooner is available for charter (parties, weddings, office gatherings, or any other social event) for up to 45 people. 100% of charter income is used to support the educational programs.

The Academy of Natural Sciences Urban Rivers Awareness Program
Besides providing the scientific component to City Sail's school programs, the Academy of Natural Sciences offers all kinds of water-related learning experiences in its museum.

The Delaware Estuary Program
DELEP is a vast partnership of government agencies, nonprofit organizations, companies, and citizens working together to protect and restore the Delaware River. The web site has all kinds of useful information on the Delaware and it's value as a natural and economic resource.

The Delaware Riverkeeper Network

Partnership for the Delaware Estuary
The Partnership is dedicated to building awareness of the Delaware Estuary (that's where the river flows into the sea) through education programs for schools and the general public.

Philadelphia Wooden Boat Factory
Instructs students on boat building as a team. Increases self-confidence, builds strength, improves math and science skills and develops an appreciation for the natural environment.

Pittsburgh Voyager
"Tell me, I'll forget; Show me, I might remember; Involve me, I'll understand" is the motto aboard the Voyager. There are camp, school, teacher and community programs available to anyone interested in learning more about Pittsburgh's rivers.
