Pennsylvania 2000 Waste Watcher Awards
Length: 30 minutes The Pennsylvania Waste Watcher Awards honor the many successful
public and private recycling and waste reduction programs throughout
the Commonwealth. A total of 64 recipients in 25 counties received
awards in these categories:
- Recycling Collection
- Recycling Education
- Processing/Markets
- Processing/Materials
The awards ceremony was held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on April
19th, 2000. During the ceremony, Lt. Gov. Mark Schweiker, who chairs
the Governor's Executive Council on Recycling Development and Waste
Reduction, recognizes the achievements and presents the awards to
organizations, businesses and local governments across Pennsylvania.
